THE SHOELACE MEDALS INSPIRATION

gramps

During his lifetime, “Gramps” was known for faithfully wearing his religious medals. After his passing in December of 2017, in his honor, his family started to “wear” their medals, too. Because a necklace is not practical with sports and activities, they simply knotted the medals to their shoelaces.

They started packaging medals in style and giving them as gifts. Friends inquired, more ideas sparked, and the ball started rolling. What was intended as a way to honor Gramps quickly touched the souls of many families. With their encouragement, Shoelace Medals launched!

our wish

In today’s chaotic world, sometimes we need to be reminded of something good. Shoelace Medals are intended to give a moment of pause when it is needed most, reminding everyone to see the good and be the good in this world.

Wear a medal and share a medal- help us stay tied together!
